My mother died when people in the hospital took her out of the bed, and wanted to put her in?

a chair. She was awaiting surgery, had been on her back after a previous leg surgery for about a month. She had a ventilator, recently removed, and a tracheotomy. She was doing better, but then died during the transition from the bed to a chair. Why would they move such a sick woman? I still don't get it. Shouldn't they have waited until she was a little stronger? Should I forgive the hospital?I can't get it out of my head that this was the right thing to do for an older woman, and maybe she would be alive if they hadn't moved her. None of us were there to witness this , of course, but I just can't stop questioning their judgment.Anyone a nurse who has seen this happen before? They say her heart skipped , and never returned to a normal beat.
