Is it acceptable to get a tattoo of the Dharma Wheel?

If it has meaning to you and you like the idea than you need to think long and hard before you get the tattoo and see what you think about it but if you want to get it why not get a henna tattoo of it first and wear that for a while and see how that turns out.
