What could be causing these symptoms?Quick answers needed.?

For the past few days I've been experiencing a sharp pin-point localized pain just above the knee on the inner side of my left thigh.The pain is not continuous but it comes on it's own without anything triggering it and then fades away.Also I've noticed brown coloured urine for the same period of time.There are no other symptoms.Is this due to dehydration?(I drink 4-5gles of water per day despite that my lips remain chapped not sure why this happens.)Or could it be a blood clot?I plan to see GP tomorrow but still I want to know if these symptoms have had occurred to someone before?
