Why can't we understand that our policing of the world is why we are so hated?

You're absolutely correct. But let's take it a step further. I think we should stop sending aid to every country as well. Food? Forget it. Get your own. Earthquakes? Too bad. Tsunami? Oh well. Let the rest of the world deal with it for a change. Let's set up the oil wells in this country and take it even one step further than that: a military presence on our border to keep illegals out. Part of 'minding our own business' is other countries minding theirs. That means staying the hell out of our country when they don't belong here. Isolationism is the way. I'm with you, brother.
