Women who have had babies question 2?

well for me the epidural didn't hurt but i was so high on the gas it took the anesthetist 3 times to say his spiel to me before i finally got it. epidural itself was not bad it got rid of the pain completely. im not sure about ripping myself, i did have an episiotomy but i had the epidural so i didn't feel it but from what i have heard because it is so stretched down there you dont feel the rip or if they cut it. of course it was painful after the epidural wore off and i couldn't sit on my bum for a few days until it started to heal.
